Additionally, she is an arts administrator, a community organizer, and social justice activist. An ardent advocate for local arts organizations, Bonelli is a member of the Orange County Arts Council, the Goshen Art League, and Walkill River School. Gloria is an avid photographer and has been known to make the occasional odd visual art piece, usually from found objects.

Sooner than I had planned, though, we were forced to relocate, after our housebarge - our paradisical, floating, home on the Great South Bay - was driven ashore; three months after that we moved to Warwick, NY, and after another three months it was destroyed.

Originally from New Jersey, Patricia and her husband moved to Orange County and built the house where they went on to raise a family. After their children graduated from Goshen and began their military careers, she began taking some classes at the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, and returned to building her portfolio again. Patricia earned a BFA from CCAD, an art school in Columbus Ohio. Originally an oil painter, she has found a new passion of working in pastels.
